I love soil-based aquariums. I love natural, affordable, low-maintenance, low-tech, soil-based freshwater aquariums to be precise.

Why I’m giving the chapters away:

• I want to help people start and succeed with soil-based aquariums — this is the resource I wish I had when I began.
• I want to make the core ideas easy to access so more hobbyists can experiment with natural systems.
• I want to build a community around practical, usable knowledge — not just sell a product.
